Adjust sound, motion, text, and accessibility

Use device settings for comfortable reading, quieter use, and chart text values.

If sounds are quiet or missing

  1. Check the device’s media volume.
  2. Check silent mode; Chore Miner respects the device’s sound settings.
  3. Check whether audio is routed to Bluetooth headphones or another output.
  4. Try an in-app completion or celebration after adjusting the device settings.

Adjust reading and motion settings

  1. Open system Settings → Accessibility.
  2. Use the text-size and display controls available on your OS version to make reading more comfortable.
  3. Under Motion, enable Reduce Motion if you prefer less animation.
  4. Reopen the app and check its quest, reward, and parent screens.

Read chart values without the graph

  1. Open the child’s Stats tab or parent Performance dashboard.
  2. Under Gems per day, choose a chart period.
  3. Expand Daily chart values to read each day’s gems and approved quest count.
  4. Use VoiceOver if enabled in your device’s Accessibility settings to navigate labeled controls and summaries.
