Choose a repeat option

#
  1. Open Quests and tap a quest.
  2. Tap Repeat and choose the schedule.
  3. For Every other day, set the first due date. That date is due; the next day is skipped, and the following day is due again.
  4. Tap Save and sync.
  • Every day: one quest period per local calendar day.
  • Every other day: alternating local days starting with First due date.
  • Weekdays: Monday through Friday.
  • Every week: one completion period per local calendar week. It is not a picker for a particular weekday.
  • One time: a single responsibility that does not automatically recur after completion.

Check the device’s local date and time

#

Quest day boundaries follow the timezone of the device in use. A local evening does not become tomorrow just because it is past midnight UTC. Calendar-based schedules account for daylight saving changes.

  1. On the device, open system Settings → General → Date & Time.
  2. Use Set Automatically where available and check the timezone.
  3. Reopen Chore Miner after changing the time or timezone, then sync the family devices.

If a quest is missing today

#
  1. In parent mode, check that Active quest is on and the correct child is assigned.
  2. Check Repeat and, for alternating quests, First due date.
  3. Check whether this period is already complete or awaiting approval.
  4. If a parent reopened older work, look for Quests to retry in the child view.
  5. Keep both apps open and sync if the schedule was edited on another device.
