Add, edit, archive, or delete a child profile

Manage child names, avatars, reminders, and the difference between archiving and permanent deletion.

Add another child

  1. Open parent Family.
  2. Type a name in New child’s name, then tap +.
  3. Check the quests assigned to All children; those are shared assignments.
  4. Create individual assignments if this child needs a different routine.
  5. Tap Pair beside their name if they have their own device.

Edit a profile

  1. Open parent Settings and tap the child under Family profiles.
  2. Edit Name and choose an avatar from the icon grid.
  3. Set an optional Daily quest reminder if wanted.
  4. Inspect the Devices section to see devices assigned to this child.
  5. Tap Save, then sync.

Archive or bring back a profile

  1. Open the child’s profile in Settings.
  2. Tap Archive profile and confirm.
  3. The profile is hidden from normal selection and active dashboards. Its history is retained, and its child devices lose access.
  4. To bring it back, reopen the archived profile, tap Unarchive profile, and confirm.
  5. Create fresh pairing invitations for the child’s devices. Old device access is not restored automatically.

Permanently delete a child

#
  1. Export an encrypted backup first if you may need this history later.
  2. Open the child’s profile and scroll to Permanently delete.
  3. Enter your parent PIN and type DELETE.
  4. Tap Delete this child’s data and confirm.
  5. Keep the remaining family apps open and sync so the deletion propagates.
