Export diagnostics or share a crash report
Send support useful technical information while keeping family history and credentials private.
- Open the parent portal and tap Settings.
- Tap Export safe diagnostics.
- In the system file picker, choose a location and save ChoreMiner-Diagnostics.json.
- Attach the saved file to an email to support@choreminerapp.com when you want help.
- Include what you were doing, which device was involved, whether another device was nearby, and the approximate time.
- On the affected iPhone or iPad, open system Settings.
- Go to Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data. On older OS versions, the Privacy/Analytics labels may differ.
- Look for a recent report beginning with ChoreMiner and a time matching the crash.
- Open it and use the system share button to save or share that specific report.
- Review the report before sending it to support. Apple-generated reports can contain device and technical identifiers that are not included in Chore Miner’s safe diagnostics.
- Device model, iOS/iPadOS version, and Chore Miner version/build.
- The exact steps that led to the problem and what you expected to happen.
- Whether it happens every time, and whether other family devices show the same issue.
- Approximate date/time and a safe screenshot of the error if useful.
- Restart the device and try opening the app again.
- Install an available Chore Miner update without deleting the current app.
- Use the system crash-report steps above and contact support.
- Keep existing installations and backup files. Do not delete the app to troubleshoot without a confirmed recovery plan.
