Submit, approve, return, or undo a quest
Check real-life work before awarding gems, and reopen an approval when a child needs another try.
- In the child view, open Quests and tap the responsibility.
- Read the instructions and finish the work in real life.
- Use the completion button in the quest details.
- If approval is required, the quest shows that it was sent to the parent. Gems are awarded after approval.
- For separate devices, keep both apps open nearby so the submission reaches the parent.
A quest with Parent approval required turned off awards its configured gems automatically when the submission is accepted.
- Open parent Overview and find Ready for approval.
- Check the actual work. Tap the approval button if it is complete.
- If it needs more work, choose Try again instead.
- Have the child open the returned quest, read the parent note, finish the remaining work, and submit again.
- Sync again so the child sees the outcome.
- In parent Overview, tap the child’s tile to open Performance.
- Scroll to Quest activity. Use Older or Newer if the record is on another page.
- Find the approved quest and tap Undo approval & ask to retry.
- Confirm Remove gems and request a retry.
- The approval’s gem credit is removed and the quest is returned to the child. Sync both devices and have the child resubmit once the work is finished.
